Welcome! My name is Stephanie. I am a southern girl, born and raised in NC + VA. Nowadays, I live in a 900 sq. ft. row house in sunny South Philadelphia with my family, and spend most of my days at work at a non-profit art institution. Please meet the rest of the crew.

David, a Pennsylvania kind of guy, husband, architect, resident graphic designer, co-blogger, and sanity keeper.

Estelle, pre-K daughter, assistant interior decorator, comedian, and household food critic.

William, baby extraordinaire, joined the team in May 2013. He’s a keeper!

Lola, the super-friendly feline.

We’re nice people, and we love Philadelphia. David and I both work outside of the home, full time. Estelle is thriving (and getting an adorable S. Philly accent) at a very nice daycare. We don’t have a car, but it’s a choice, so you won’t hear us whine about it. On the contrary, we usually have lots of good things to say about not owning a car. Living in a small, old house comes with some compromises…we don’t have central air, a dishwasher, or a microwave. To save some monthly moola, we gave up our cable TV for a digital antenna, and aside from watching our Phils, we haven’t really missed it.

What will you find here? Mostly family updates, a few house updates, a couple recipes, and us promoting an urban family life. David and I both contribute to this blog, and we will try our best to let you know who is posting at any given time!

I was wondering if you would be able to provide me with the origins of the image for the entry on Philadelphia Rowhouse Manual as the download link no longer seems to be available.
(http://www.philaplanning.org/pubinfo/rowhousemanual.pdf) Thank you for your help.
